Summer Transitions
While I'm not quite ready for summer to be over just yet, I'm already feeling inspired by fall staples. I blame it on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and my purchase of two new amazing booties, seeing everyone's fall scores, and an ever so slight (and sadly short-lived) drop in temperature. I also blame it on this jacket from Billabong. I kid you not, this might be my favorite jacket in the history of ever. I mean--I've had anorak and cargo jackets in the past, but seriously none quite like this. For starters it's a lot softer than any of my others. Like crazy soft. It has that great relaxed and effortless vibe that I love and is the perfect weight as a transitional layer over summer tanks, tees, and dresses, or to layer up with sweaters for fall.
For a summer vibe with a fall spin I paired it with shorts and my new favorite tee and took my first opportunity to wear my new Nsale booties! This Billabong hat added a boho vibe and I felt totally festival ready. Except I had no festival to go to, but it really would be a great festival look!
Anyway, I can't even tell you how much I love this jacket. I've been putting it on first thing in the morning before I take my dog out and find myself lounging in it sipping my morning tea. It's THAT good and I know it's going to be my go-to layer this fall. With fall right around the corner I highly recommend it!
