In my last post I talked about wardrobe staples and how I'm building up my closet with them. I'm always big on neutrals and love how they mix and match so easily within your wardrobe. A couple more neutral staples I picked up this year?

White Distressed Skinny Jeans - White denim really is a staple year round. Amazing paired with summer brights and as winter white. Honestly, I'm a big, big fan of white after Labor Day and have never followed that nonsense. Rock your white year round, I say! And add a touch of interest and edge with distressing. I love white with other neutrals, but it also looks so gorgeous paired with rich fall hues like burgundy.

Nude Flats - When I saw these Vince d'orsay flats at Nordstrom Rack I honestly just about died. I snagged them for almost 40% off, but would have paid full price. They're that good. Nude flats are an essential addition to your footwear collection. They go with EVERYTHING and look classic and chic with any look.

Cream Cable Knit- If one item says "winter wardrobe" to me, it's the classic cable knit. I love a gorgeous white or cream hue and this one by Sam Edelman is crazy soft and cozy. From day with jeans to night with a faux leather jacket, the classic cable knit it essential.

Lightweight Trench - This week I mentioned my sleeveless trench/dress that I'm oh-so in love with. Another winner and easy wardrobe addition? This pretty, grey number. Classic and feminine and easy to mix and match with so many colors. I'm all about grey pretty much always, but I love how it looks mixed with white and other grey tones.

Having these classic pieces in my wardrobe really does make me feel like my wardrobe can go the extra mile in terms of versatiliy. They're easy, effortless, and timeless and are must-haves in a closet full of classics.
