I'm a big fan of layers and clothes that have built in layers are an automatic win in my book. This Goodnight Macaroon sweater is really kind of perfect and makes layering a breeze. With a knit sweater attached to a plaid flannel, you get the layered look without the hassles of extra bulk and fidgeting that comes along with it. I love that you get a peek of plaid just at the bottom and sides (and not the back), versus having a collar attached, which always makes me feel a little too preppy for my taste. It's the perfect mix of classic and chic with just a touch of fall. 

I paired it with plenty of gold, the most perfect edgy/sweet necklace, and my favorite jeans in the history of ever.
